Yesterday in DTLA, I saw how the roses and art had grown on the steps of the Hall of Justice, and 100s of people in front of City Hall. We peacefully marched with them down Spring St, up 7th, across on Figueroa, and thru the tunnel to Hill St leading us to the top of Grand Park where we descended back to the steps of City Hall. A well organized demonstration, completely peaceful, with a large police presence by LAPD and the National Guard.
It was moving to see how many people were there to give out free water, snacks, and hand sanitizer, ensuring the safety of all participating. We are in this together.
